  • All Maintence Service Intervals Accomplished

    For an example: 5K, 10K & 20K services 

    Scag's Hawg Alley has developed their own detailed checklist that exceeds standard manual requirements. Our company focuses on safety, performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Oil Changes

    We offer AmsOil, Mobil1, or standard HD Oil with all oil changes. We have OEM oil filters as well as other brands.

  • Handlebar Upgrades

    Scag's has accomplished all types of handlebar upgrades. This would include quality installation of 16 inch or 18 inch chubby ape hangers as well as other modifications to enhance rider comfort and satisfaction.

  • Tire Changes

    We stock most common HD sizes and are able to special order most any other tires.

  • Engine Modifications

    Upgrade your CV carburator to S&S or other quality replacements. Cam work, and general engine modifications or overhauls.

  • Wreck Recoveries & Rebuilds

    Assitance with wreck recoveries and insurance claims. We use OEM parts to return your bike pre-accident condition.

  • EFI System Diagnostics

    We have the technology to troubleshoot most HD EFI Problems and the experience to repair.

Twin Cam Service

      The Harley Twin Cam engine is an excellent engine. We have found the chain driven cams are a weak point. The Cam chain adjusters wear at approximately 5000 miles and should be checked at 30000 miles. OEM manuals do not require an inspection of these parts at any service interval. Adjusters have been found worn beyond the recommended wear limits at as low as 6000 miles and as much as 40000 miles.

      The photo above shows one of the adjusters that we removed. Had this customer continued to operate this engine in this condition, there could have been some pretty bad engine damage. This condition will also affect engine performance. Scag's Hawg Alley has had great success installing S&S gear driven cams to replace the chain drive system. The S&S 510G kit is an excellent set up for 88 inch, 95 inch and 96 inch engines.
